Can i bore my 2002 400ex carb out to the 38 mm that the 2004 models come with. I was thinking about doing a 416 and cam and i think this would compliment it nicely. What is all involved. I take the slide and butterfly out and take to to the machine shop and say here bore this out to 38mm?

 

sparks does a 36mm bore on the stock one think i heard 130, fcr 29 from them was like 450

 

yeah, you can even go bigger
