I think in the owners manual it talks about higher elevation riding and what you can do. I'll look for my manual and see if I can find something for you. I think from reading on other posts, you may be able to change the jetting to help at the higher elevation. If I remember right it talks about elevations above 4000. I'll see what I can find for ya and get back. You can also call one of the shops an talk to a Honda mechanic.
