I only ride the ATV's for a 4 week period, but you can ride from May through Sept.. depending on where in Alaska yo are

 

Since you are storing for so long, even if you use synthetic for riding, make sure that before you store it, you change the oil using 100% dino oil. Then run the engine, making sure the dino oil is well circulated before storage.
