thanks for the info. i was unsure about the plastic but sounds like it is doing well for you. i am going to order mine for my 450 and my wifes 300. thanks again

How much do the plastic ones cover? Front all the way to the swingarm mount? Would they handle a hard hit? I pulled out one of my wires under neath and need to buy some protection also.

It goes from up under the bash plate clear back to the swing arm mount. I can say that it is tough! I have had my quad standing on end (trying to wheelie over boulders and logs, just to come crashing down high centered........ with no damage to it....
