Sometimes it will go in and sometimes it will not. It just started happening. I have heard that the ES will act up if the battery is not at full charge all the time. It has been pretty cold here, could that be my problem? Or does this sound like a mechanical problem? Anybody else have this problem too? Thanks guys.

 

Do you hear the solinoid, at the front of the motor, clicking when you press the up or down button? sometimes mine wont go either, but only when its cold...when the motor warms up, it works fine. Could the cable ,to move the reverse lockout, be out of adjustment? When you push in the red button, it catches a lever and cable, which move the lock out.

 

when youre driving it runs on an alternater(generator maybe i dunno) so when youre stopped it runs off the battery
