That was my next question... does honda sell cr125/250 go-kart engines? I know Yamaha advertises thier yz80/125 engines for go-karts (so I assume they are counterbalanced). Has anybody bought one of these 2-cycle go-kart engines.... how much are the 250's?

 

Honda doesn't sell the motors but they can be purchesed from a shop called service honda...

Actually... I used to race with a guy that did this conversion, it was very clean, and did not requier any major frame modifacations. What he did for a pipe was use a 250R pipe, with a few modifacations that i cant remember, and used a 250R radiator. This quad was very fast.
