And try this for the mount, <http://www.gpscity.com/gps/brados/16...49ga8.html>

I hope it helps

Cavaselis, I just added a 12V power point to my quad yesterday for the same reason (Garmin etrex Venture).

What I used:
Victor #V5349 12 Power Outlet All-weather design (has a rubber cover over the opening). $7.99 at Wal-Mart
10A all-weather fuse holder. $5 at NAPA. It's in the boating accessaries
#14AWG Primary Wire (Black and Red) +/- 1' each.
crimp on all weather wire rings (2) and male slip-on connectors (2). The rings go to the battery and the slip-on connectors go to the factory connectors on the power outlet.

ALWAYS use a fuse. It's there to protect the wire. The fuse holder is 16 AWG and the rest of the wiring is 14 AWG. The power outlet came with 16AWG. I mounted it to a spare little tab under the left rear side on the Warrior. If you look on my photo page there is a pic of it (and the Garmin mounted to the handlebar. May need to wait for approval). I mainly added it to use a small air compressor as I keep getting flats. Also figure I can use it for the GPS, cell phone, portable light, flag whip light, etc. Looks pretty good sitting back there. Just remember if you run a good sized load (like the little compressor) start your quad up and run it to keep from killing your battery.

The best mounts I have seen are called RAM MOUNTS, expensive but VERY soild and nice.
When you get to H/M trails in WV you may be very surprised. I took my GPS and ended up never using it. GET A TRAIL MAP (make sure you dont forget) and you can find your way VERY easily. They did a GREAT job making the trails and the map is dead on. We could not believe how good of a job they did marking everything and how EASY it was to get around. You will have a blast there, just watch out, the "black" trails are HARD and I sure would NEVER think of trying them with a 2x4 or a sport machine.
Have fun!

Heres a quick update.Me and my brother got the rino 120's and are very unhappy with them the radio part of them sucks and the garmin handle bar mount suckes, it for a bike not a atv I had to rig it on with electric tape to the cross bar of the renthal bars. All in all we didnt even need the GPS but you never know.I did like the gps part of the unit but I could have just got a cheaper unit like the etrex...When I say the radio part sucks me and my brother were in my yard him in the back me in the front and we could not understand each other.Cool idea bad design.

Cavaselis: We use the rinos too... The radio is hard to get use too, but I've used mine with a helmet adaptor and it's not bad. However we use the call button with codes ie one beep is checking if you are here, 2 quick beeps is stop soon for the guy upfront and 2 quick beeps to the guy behind is caution ahead etc... We can use ours no problem when stopped however when the bike is running it's tougher. You will not be able to beat the ram mounts. I hard wire @ fuse to my battery so it stays on when shutting the bike off. also the rinos 120 you can set the fequency thingy higher in the states for more distance talk. There is also a serious delay so what we do is count to 4 before pushing to talk and wait 2 then talk. There is room for improvements however it's something that you will get use too... Also we found don't bring it closer to you to talk.

Well I ran mine for the first time this weekend mounted up to the quad. Only problem I had was it kept shutting off on me when it got REALLY bumpy. Not just like a good jump, but washboard bumpy. I think the batteries come loose. Can't wait to get the power adapter. Hopefully that cures that problem. And I use the plastic Garmin mount. Stayed locked in just fine. Mine is mounted to the stock bars. Not a cross bar as found on the aftermarket bars.

I run DC on mine and I was haveing problems with the plug coming out of the DC plug and shutting the unit off so I hard wired mine. Batteries wasn't a problem other than they wouldn't last long. I LOVE the new 130 with the weather stations in em
