Default New Rancher

Just got a new 04 Rancher................2wd.............manuel shift........does great except when hard on the throttle going through the gears it has a whinning noise in 5th gear ........is this normal?

well first u should break the engine in under half throttle for the 1st 100 miles or your piston rings and piston wall wont seat and then you wont get as high of compression causing less power and less engine life through the years. and second yea thats normal for the wine its your tranny it has something to do with the clutch i dont know what tho ur gonna have to ask a guy with a honda. both my budddys 450s do it too

The whine will get less and less over time........or maybe you will just get use to it????
