does anybody out there know if you can buy a kick starter as an aftermarket mod for a 400 ex if you can will you please tell me where and how much. id like to get one and possibly do away with the electric to eliminate some weight and and have less electrical stuff to worry about.

 

I doubt it..my brothers are hardcore riders..they got the 400EX..and still use the electirc..and I know they'd go out and buy it....your better of tradin it off for a trx450...less electircal..no battery...Kick start [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

also....that batery doesnt like to hold charge..both there quads...and my neibor up the street.....keep theres on a trickle charger because they loose charge....

 

XR400 motor. I think you have to do some mods to the rear plastic though.
