i actually would have to say an auto clutch is faster as far as shifting goes for an all out drag race and such unless of course ur not using the clutch when u upshift but thats bad for the tranny. with a clutch u have more controll, if ur down shifting u can ease into the gear and not slow down very fast or lock up your wheels and when upshifting u can ease into the gear as to not do a wheely. others dont want to bother with a clutch. its just personal preference.

One big advantage about a clutch, is if you are going up a big hill or something and it starts to bog, you can slip the clutch a little and get your revs up for more power. With an auto clutch, you have to downshift which loses momentum. Also, for starting. You can keep the machine reved. With an auto-clutch, if you hit the gas too hard or a quad like a 250ex, it will probably bog down.

i habe a manual and auto clutch and the clutch is mutch better for hils and corners. the auto is good for screwing around with like family and friends. also u can disengage the clutch on like ex. 250ex if u down or upshift half way. so u can be like in third and come to a courner, u can upshift half way rev high and complete the shift coming out of the corner,

I have no clue at all, but that just sounds like it would be hard on the tranny

Default auto clutch???

when you have a manual clutch all the power from the engine goes to the wheels when you have auto clutch some of that gets waisted

Thats incorrect. All an auto clutch does is clutch for you. There isnt the significant performance loss like there is with an automatic. The clutch is still fully engaged when you are done shifting, just like a manual clutch.
