78 odyssey 250

Default 78 odyssey 250

i just got a odyssey and was wondering what ratio to mix the gas casue it doesnt say on gas cap or cant read it, and why there is two spark plugs but one wire

Originally, the ratio was 20:1, but 32:1 is the most commonly used ratio today. Technological advances in the manufacturing of oils allow for the ratio change.

Judging from the "two spark plugs" comment, I guess the previous owner put in a spark plug where the sealing bolt should have been. One of the holes is for the plug and the other is for a sealing bolt. Some say that this sealing bolt is for compression testing without the need to remove the plug. Personally, I've never removed mine for anything.

Click the "Cylinder" link (first one) and you'll see the plug (#19) and the sealing bolt (#13).
