hey hey fellas wanting to know will a 400 ex carb fit and work properly on a 300ex is there any benifits to it any mods you have to make where best place to by one if some of yall could let me know i would appreciate it thanks again

 

I haven't heard how it does on stock 300's. I do know that racing a big bore I had to re-gear my wifes quad cuz it gained that much power.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

yeah my 2001 300ex is pretty much stock all i got is a white bros.. pro meg exhaust gonna do more upgrades just had heard about the carb. froma 400 just wanted some input thanks

what jetting is everyone running in their 400ex carbs on a 300ex?

i have talked to a few people that have had good success. i guess the key is just to get it tuned in properly.

 

I took mine off a stock, piped 400ex and put it on a big bore 305ex. The jetting was perfect.

I have heard from others that the the jetting stays the same, also.

 

you can get them off ebay for cheap, I might part out a 400ex this week so maybe I can give you a good deal on one.

 

yeah i looked on ebay for them found one for like 9 dollars then another for like a dollar dont know if it is a scam or that is really what they are selling it for
