Deadeye,Hey that resturant was the insparation for my username. I eat there on occasion. Francis Marion is a fine school ,unfortunatly I did not go there. I work in Lake city at the Fiber plant. I checked your profile and the name does not ring a bell with me. Are you related to the racing Jarretts in any way??? You know Ned, Dale and Jason?
I went by the Dealer today to check on my ride and was quoted "bad computer, we hope" So they seem to be on the right track. They are supposed to be getting a new one right from the plant which is only like 10 minutes away from the Dealership.

RT----Well about my relatives...I did drive a ford taurus for a little just like like Dale, but that is about as close as it comes. So are you guys getting any deals with that plant being right there in Timmonsville? Whats a rancher go for down there.
P.S. If that Ruby gives you any more problems I'd make them buy it back and get yourself a foreman 450es and modify it with vampire or mudrunner tires, w/ the Highlifter high perfomance kit and a winch.....WOW, what a dream quad!!!

Deadeye: The plant doesn't help our cost one bit, My Rubicon still cost me $7,000.00 plus. They do however have a really good deal for plant employees from what I understand. They can buy one Quad per year at a really reduced price, I've been told on the 450 it was around $1400.00 below retail.
I have considered what you said about the 450, That was really what I had intended to buy to start with, then I heard about the rubicon. Well you know what they say "Hindsights 20/20!!!

As I was following this thread I came up on your post. I too have a 99 Honda 450ES. I just put a set of 27" Mud Bug's on it and am thinking about getting a set of HighLifter's, Progressive shocks instead of a high-lift kit. I was also wanting to hear from somebody who has installed all or part of HL's performance kit's. Please let me know your opinion of cost vs. results with regard to the kit's, also if you have an opinion on going with the shocks instead of the high-lift kit>
