Default Rancher Oil Leak

Got a new 2005 Rancher ES last week. Today I took it out and put 12 easy miles on it. I noticed when I downloaded it off of my truck at the end of the ride that there were a few drops of oil on the truck bed. The bottom of the skid plate is a little wet with oil. Only thing I found is a small rubber drain line that comess off of the bottom of the carburetor. The end of the line is not connected to anything, it just drains to the ground. What is this drain line for and should it be dripping oil? I haven't gotten my repair manual yet and the small manual that came with the bike doesn't mention anything about it.

I appreciate any help. Taking it back to a Honda dealer to have it checked out will be my last step.

Default Rancher Oil Leak

the line is for gas overflow from rough riding, should not have any oil coming out of it at all
