The dyno top speed was in 5th gear right as the engine hit the rev limiter. I raced at the Ashtabula TT this year and was hitting the limiter down the front straight just before I had to let off for the corner. I would have to believe that I was going around 75 mph because there was no tire spin on that sticky surface.

Top speed on 400ex
i had a 400ex with the powercore 4 pipe, new cam, jetted properly, and stock size tires, i rode it next to my friend's truck and he said that we were going about 69 mph. 73 is quite fast for just having a pipe. is the gps mounted to the quad and designed to measure speed like that? or is it one of those handheld ones?
