New Quad?
#12
Hey, lighten up. It was an attempt at a little humor and sorry you didn't get it but it wasn't unintelligent. I just thought someone would get a little chuckle from it, that's all. The question was getting plenty of response.
Besides, if he wants a quad, do what I did. Ride everything you can get your hands on. Think about the type of riding you will do. Then make your choice as to what will fit the situation and ability to ride. I started with a 250SX. I bought a 250R after 5 years of buying and selling machines. I wish I would have started with the R, but I had to learn and experiment, and my abilities have improved and where I ride is different also, so my machines have changed.
It's pretty hard to suggest to someone what they ought to get without knowing them or their abilities. Our own opinions get in the way of what will be the best for them.

Only two posts recommended the 250R & they were both the same guy (speeddemon), but I know what you mean. Some people just can't stay focused on the original topic. I figured that if he had narrowed his search down to 3 new quads, that he had his reasons and had already dismissed the alternatives for whatever reason(warranty, novice rider, dealer rep, etc.) I've heard nothing but great things about the Recon and am suggesting the Recon to my sister as a replacement for her current bike, a 220 Kaw.

WV250R. He didn't say he wanted a used 300 Honda or a used Rancher. If it is used it is not a new 4 wheeler. I see you added your own 2 cents. So if you dont want anyone getting off the subject you may want to check your own post's out.If you dont like what I write DEAL WITH IT ! No one likes a crybaby.
