i have a 2000 polaris 500 scrambler and there is a kid that lives near me and he all ways brags to me about how much power his "big red" has. and he keeps tellin me that it will pull my scrambler and i havent had time to hook them up yet. tell me what u think would win and he said i can also have mine in 4wd and he still could pull me. thank u

 

I think he is full of crap. Also, wouldn't the 4x4 on your scrambler not com on unless the back tires were spinning faster than the fronts?

 

This would be a good one to watch. Anyone wanna bet how fast you can pull a Big Red around the yard?

 

got a kid down the street from me tells me GF daughter that he can kick my butt on a 185 honda 3 wheeler, I caught up with him one day asked him if he would like to race for titles LOL I thought he was going to cry then I said relax let go for a ride. He is a crazy teenager on a old beat up 185 but man he went through allot of stuff , not sure how he survived. but you 500 would drag that atv for as long as you wanted and most likely you would barely notice him behind you crying.

 

Well, I have a Big Red 250 and I know that a Scrambler would pull it all around. First, the Scrambler is heavier. Second, it has 4 wheel drive. Third, the 500 definately has more power. As far as the Sportsman 500, one passed me on a fire road and when I got my wheeler up to speed he wasn't pulling away from me at all. Some may not believe it, but I'd be glad to show ya.

 

YEAH! I know what u all mean theres a kid that lives near me with a Trail boss and he thinks he can beat me in a race! I just laugh. I know hes scared to race me so it doesnt really matter.
