Default LIft effect on CV joints? (RINCON)

Any input on how likely I am to break my CV joints if I put a lift on? Right now my tires are stock but I'll probably go with 589's when replacement time rolls around. I was wondering how the angle affects the wear on the joints. Thanks.

Well it depends on the height of the lift and the resulting drive angles, but just like in any other type of vehicle, the wear and strain will be faster and more severe. The higher you go, the worse it gets. I would suggest that unless your riding area or style necessitates 27"+ tires that you refrain from installing them for the best possible reliability.

I usually just put on whatever size the stock suspension setup can accept. That way my joints dont wear much more and my handling is impacted as little as possible.
