now now. If life hasnt tought you anything its that you never know what to expect. Even from me.

Chet these 4-stroke jobs are garbage and they take too long to assemble.

... Granted- the 250R has been, and still is- according to me, anyways- the benchmark for race and sport quads, but not quite the standard for 4x4 utility quads. That being said- yes, it depends on the type of riding you do and what you value in a quad. For instance- I think very highly of the Kawasaki Lakota because it's just about a do it all quad. Chain drive so you can change gear ratios, electric start- WITH RECIOL BACKK UP, not something ya see on the likes of the Z400, 3 and 400ex or Raptor/ YFZ450. Has reverse and optional racks. while it's not the out and out hell runner, I like it alot for everything it does. For hell running and terrorizing the neighborhood, I take out the Mojave.

I don't know but i'm addicted to the smell of 2-stroke in the morning, got to love a castor blend oil...ahh oh right for all round preformance give it up to the 250's, and the 400ex thats the first bike I learned to hold a wheelie on.

As far as reliablity, versitility and work ethics its hard to beat the Honda 300, they just won't die! They are strong and fun! Just my input!

... however, back in the day- I really wanted a Warrior, and even with the current hardware out there it'll still do a good job. I'm not such a fan of the Raptor 350- the smaller 20 inch tires breack loose easier and it's more of a handful. Give the Warrior an iol cooler and you've got a good setup.
