250ex manuel clutch
the reason for that is that the back of the rim is dished out more and it would act like wheel spacers. but you have to drill a hole in the other side because it hits the rotar cover. to fill the hole from the back side you have to get a nother valve stem and put it in there up side down so it will fill the hole.

Zoom545, exriders doesnt have their own magazine, just the intrnet site, there is not yet a kit to change your autoclutch 250ex into a manual clutch, he just has a new clutch kit like the plaltes and springs prob. Im preety sure they havent made a kit yet. There was an article in dirtwheels that talked about some cyclecounty sumthin i dont rem. the name came out with a conversion for the Z250. By reversed rims he flipped them around for more width, like this and spacers it causes more tension on the hub and axle and can cause it to bend easier. Durablue now makes an axle for the 250, check www.denniskirk.com they have them. As for the clutch part, dont spend your money boring it out and the Elka shocks and the pipe. Just save your money sell your 250 and buy a 300ex, Raptor 350, or Blaster. Or even a 400. I would recomend the 300EX for an entry level, thats what i have and its awesome. The handling isnt as good but you can put 400ex a-arms and shocks (with a special kit) and have great handling for under 100 bucks. If your racing MX get the 300. It would have most likely more power than the bored 250 if u just put a pipe on it, not to mention better suspension and acceleration b/c of the clutch. You would regret borering your 250 and blowing over 500 bucks on Elkas that you could save a quad worth putting them on. I had a 250, dont get me wrong i loved it but i got a 300 and im sellin the 250. just some helpful advice for you.
