MUDLITES! THE ONLY WAY TO GO!
#11
i have mud lites on my rubicon and i put 2500 kilometers (1800 miles aprox) and i havent had any trouble with flats or sidewall punctures.
and yes they do ware down faster then the gators.
i had gators on my cat and i put 2500 miles on them with out a single problem and they did ware down a bit but not much.
and the mud lites tread is deeper then the gators by almost 1/2 an inch.
i would say that my mud lites have about the same ware on them at 1800 miles as the gators did at 2500 miles.
so its not that bad.
And the lites out perform the gators.
i can say that now that i've put some miles on them but i was not to sure befor i tryed them.
but i am sure now.
i still havent got to test them in the deep snow yet but im hopeing i will soon.
mud lites are a great tire and im very happy with them.
if you dont do alot of riding you'll never ware them out and if you do ride alot then you should get at least 3000 to 4000 miles out of them.

Well there you go! Read mudblasters reply. He has owned and ridden both tires so theres the best kind of information you can find about a product. Looks like he agrees with me, You cant beat the mudlites. I have had no flats or any problems of any kind with my mudlites. They are 6ply tires even on the sidewalls, so they gotta be tough.

The MudLites I have been changing out that are bald have around 3000 mi. on them. The dirt devel will hold up better on black top and they run the same price. They are just about the same design.
The Bear Claw and 589 use to be the big sellers here but there number's are down to around 40 for the year. The Mudlite is kicking them. I will hit about 1000 MudLite's in sales this year.
