Default Rancher Purchase - Help!

Thanks for all the advice on buying. Picked up an '04 ES @ Chattanooga for $4083 + tax. Love it, but took it out to the I-81 Motosports Park last weekend & I might have problem. Didn't want to change gears smoothly even when riding on level ground & sometimes wouldn't shift at all. I've briefly searched the forums & I'm going to find time to do some of the recommendations I've found. Also, there is a distinctive "bump" from what I believe is the right rear wheel when rolling. I know with cars that have sat for a while they get a flat spot in the tires, but it's strange it's in only one tire. Has anyone else had this problem? If I don't find any answers I will probably post a new thread about my questions & of course will be calling the dealership, but thanks in advance for any advice anyway.

Default Rancher Purchase - Help!

I have 2 honda ranchers. A 350 and a 450. The 350 is a 2000 model its has never had any problems till this year. the reverse wouldn't work unless it got wet. First thing to come to mind is a short.. finally after looking through the manual i found a sensor the goes in the bottom of the engine. pop it off and clean it works perfect. the 450 rancher is a 2004 model and reverse quit on it about 4 months after purchased but it was a simple fix. i say the hondas are a great investment , the only thing is buy bigger tires wider and taller. It helps in the mud and keeps u from bottoming out. good luck with your purchase...
