I agree with the filter change...make sure its in correctly, it can get installed backwards, and thats not good.
that doesnt work with the es... ive tried it
Really?
Which part doesnt work? bump starting...or es working after the start?
I know on the older foremans, the battery is necessary for shifting. The newer ones, will shift, with the motor running and a dead battery.

I have tried to jump start and pull start mine when it was not abel to shift ( I rolled it and smashed the es shifters ) The only thing that would work was to try to manually shift into neutral...It would not go to neutral at first so we tried all the other methods. After playing with it for over an hour it finally went into neutral for me..as soon as it was in neutral it started right up.

the shifters work when the battery is dead, but the foreman es wont seem to start by pull starting. the motor will revv up and sputter and sound like its running but will not seem to run... ive tried it on my buddys foreman down a huge hill just engine brakes all the way to the bottom and stops.

Unlike my polaris 700 the foreman dose have a pull starter, and on the foreman all you have to do is change the oil and clean the air filter unlike polaris.
