I ride a Polaris, but one of my friends brought his '05 Rincon....I got some pics, but it was cold and didn't want to stop all the time to take pics. The Rincon did well, went through all the technical stuff without a hitch. The pics don't do justice for some of the stuff we rode through, but its hard to get off and take a pic when you are worried about flipping over sideways or backwards....we had to get one machine up at a time on some stuff....

Also riding with me today, a 450EX....amazingly he made it through most stuff we did, he couldn't make some of the steep climbs that were really rutted and 4WD was needed and got stuck a couple of times in deep ruts, but he was an experienced rider and did some amazing stuff....

So did that stick punch a hole in the radiator?

 

No, luckily on the Polaris it has two radiator shields and the radiator sits a few inches back....pushed in the guards about an inch, the stick was over an inch thick, only splinters made it through....I plan on taking the guards off today and straightening them and replacing them if necessary...

is that a 450r or an 05 400ex bored out to 450?

 

oops, you're right, its a 2004 450R.....I didn't pay too much attention to it at the time....he added a larger gas tank and also said he put in an autoclutch....still has to shift, but no clutching it....except for maybe first.....
