Being that the tire is from Highlifter, I would expect it to be awesome. However, it has yet to prove durability since it was just recently released. There are a couple of posts in Highlifters' forum concerning punture holes in these tires. Visit their site and check it out. Personally, I'm waiting a little longer. Before I spend that much money on a tire, I want to know that it will last.

The Outlaws look great, however, they are new,so I personally have no experience with them.

I had a set of GoodYear Mudrunners on my 99 Sportsman.I liked them SO much,I bought a set for my 00 Xplorer. They ride really good, they are as good in mud/snow as any other mudder and are pretty punture resistant to.They are 4 ply tires.====Bill

I have a set pf 28x10.5x12 amd 28x12x12 on ITP Magnum wheels. I believe the fronts with wheels weighed right at 40 pounds and the rears with wheels were 45 or 46 pounds. Very light weight for a 28" tire. I ride with a guy with 28x10x12 Vamps on ITP Steel (not aluminum) wheels and his are right at 60 pounds each. The lugs are thick and feel very durable. i don't think you are gonna tear lugs off. The wrap-around design is supposed to give you 30 or 40% more tire surface area to pull with. They do ride very bumpy at low speeds. Of course, they are made for the mud. They steer easily, but they are rough at low speed. I run the recommended pressure. Some of the roughness is lug spacing and some is the 6-ply rating, I believe. I run 26" Titan 589s on my stock wheels most of the time. They were tested in ATV magazine in a 25" size against the other brands' 27" tires. They amazed the testers. They ride great on hardpack and pull fantastic in the mud. As far as the Outlaws, we'll have to wait and see how much damage people do with them. You don't need to go at every mudhole full-throttle, they don't seem to require and NHRA burnout to stay clean.
