I just purchased a '01 rancher 2x4 and I love it. I was also considering the recon but decided to go with the bigger machine. I'm new to ATV's and don't really have anything to compare it to, but I am very satisfied with the way it perform's."Slide's-out" very nice in the corner's and climb's hills great!!! Have fun....

 

i'll hafata measure my bed....i drive mine front first until the bumper is against my front bed rail.....

 

Thanks for all your help. From all the post, im thinking of a Rancher 4x4es. I think ill regret it later if i dont get the 4x4 option. How does the Rancher 4x4es handle tight trails ? Will it power slide or spin tires ? Will it outrun/outpreform the recon ? what about forman 450es (which i thought was kinda slow and heavy feelin)In the parking lot it seemed to turn just fine.

 

Thanks for the info !! I purchesed a 2001 Red 4x4 Rancher this weekend. I like it alot, now all the people i ride with want to sell and get them 1. I paid 4850 and no taxes since i was out of state.
