saw today that i'm leaking oil at the cover for the pull rope. Seems like ive heard others with the same problem but cant find it w/ the search. Still under warranty but wondered if the problem would returen after putting another seal in it. Guess i will let them fix it.

 

A seal will fix the problem only if the crankshaft does not have excessive run-out.

A good dealer will check the crank end run-out and note it in the work order plus replace the seal.

If they don't try to figure out what caused the seal to go bad, and your crank is out of spec, it will start leaking again.
