I think the Phantom's theatrics are kind of refreshing! Interesting that it offends some.

Maybe we should have hired the Phantom as the facility PR guy a couple years ago...LOL

Phantom,
Tell me what you know about the TRX750FA. Maybe we can share a bit.
KNOWSALOT - If I had a facility such as yours I would jump at the chance to secure The Phantom's services!

I think since April Fools is over, we've seen the last of this guy. Ammusing is he. Laughter he has brought to many. A limb he has gone out on...if you will.

PADZZ.....can't wait to see the Phantom......dissapear.

The A in Honda's ATV names only designates an Automatic transmission in general. You won't be able to tell if it's a Hondamatic or an automotive tranny just by the name. Personally, I much prefer the automotive tranny to the Hondamatic. If Honda adds low range to better serve the mudders and farmers, this tranny would be the best in the business.

I'm aware that it only designates automatic, thats why I said I was hoping it was one kind of auto and not the other.

IMO opinion the 3 speed is junk compared to other offerings, I dont care if you add a low range or not. Wrong design for this application, at very least poor execution of it. But hey, if you like it thats fine; to each thier own.

Short reasoning for the sake of not straying too far from topic:

Lack of any useful engine breaking at low speeds which makes hill descent and heavy work dangerous and difficult causing a substantial reliance on Honda's virgin disc braking system.
Inability to adjust to the demands of heavy loads and larger tires.
Drivetrain loss is no better than any other offering.
Much less repairable than any belt driven cvt and also much more expensive to replace.
Unproven design compared to the Hondamatic which has been around for over 30 years and has been used in bikes, cars, and more.

I could go on, but these are a few of my main points. You may not agree and as I've said thats fine. But if it was up to me the Rincon would have gotten the Hondamatc and probably sold exponentially more units of the Rincon. Rubicon sales very possibly could have sufferred though.

well as long as your talking about bring out some new quads. what about the 2 strokes will they be making a comeback? if there are moles in these forums dont you think they would be taking back info about everyone wanting 2 stroke quads back.
Well, Im willing to say that I think 2 strokes are going to make a comeback and that all these 4 strokes comming out is just a phase.
