Default Unfounded Rumors

Ahh, what can I say about the 2 stroke, is there is development that is ongoing in other areas that may very well translate to atv models. It will most likely be a few years off but there have been some talk in the industry that a couple of manufacturers have tested newer 2-strokes over the last couple of years. Stay tuned.

The Phantom....laughs at the April Fools innuendos....

I remember seeing something from a few months ago (on another forum) where there was a prototype of a Yamaha 250 on display at some expo over in Europe.

Also, why hide under a false idenity?
From a business standpoint, only a moron would divulge his identity or ties. A few things will result: You will not have a job for long; or Your company will not last long; or Your source of information will dry up in the blink of an eye. Welcome to the market economy, knowledge is power and power means money.

Wouldn't a genuine representive give his true identity in hopes that his statements would be taken as truth and not "unfounded rumors"? I can see your point maddog, but only true knowledge is power, which equals money. False knowledge will get you nothing but trouble. There is no way of knowing if this guy holds the key to the future, until the future reveils itself. I'am not saying he is right or wrong, I'am just saying the presentation is questionable.

Yes, true knowledge is power, and that power is money. If Honda reps divludge thier identidy they will lose what little advantage they have on the release of new and improved models. Do you think that Honda or Yamaha didnt have a distinct advantage by keeping the release of the 450 to itself???

The manufacturers arent going to release private information about upcoming or currently tested products to the general public. No other industry does this, its a terrible business practice. I just dont understand why you think that they should inside information availible to the public and then endorse its legitimacy...

Well, Im willing to say that I think 2 strokes are going to make a comeback and that all these 4 strokes comming out is just a phase.
2 strokes are doomed. Sooner or later they will be banned and or recalled. Enviromental issues have consumed 2 strokes. 4 strokes are here and they are going to stay intill they develop a engine that does not consume fossil fuels.

Actually new technologies involving direct injection and making use of newer, faster, and cheaper microprocessors are allowing a 2-stroke engine to run cleaner and make more power than a four-stroke engine of equal displacement. Also a 2-stroke engine is much lighter than its four-stroke counter part. You also have to realize that half of the small engines produced world wide are still 2-strokes.

Check out evinrude's new line of 2 stroke outboards. Bomb's SDI 2 stoke sleds are approved past the 2006 EPA cut as well.

Absolutely correct. This is how things get done. It sharts with the notion that somthing is viable, then people rally around the concept and it helps to get the factories of their respective backsides.
A while ago, in the Cannondale forums, there was a character that went by the name of Tester. There are those who think that is me, but if you look at it's posts, there is plenty of correct information there to corroberate his claims, yet in the end, Tester was proven completely wrong. It made people furoius and yet it had their attention long enough to be a distraction to what was really happening. Perhaps Tester's purpose was both to re-direct attention and discover leaks. I have no doubt, Tester was an insider looking to decieve and discover. Is that my purpose here??????Time will only tell.

The Phantom....is not Tester, OFC or any other alias you can think of, though I do have an alter-ego at atvriders....

Yes this is an ATV site, and who are you to judge if he talks like a weirdo? Everything he said made complete sense and not once did he ever use any type of "mid-evil" talk in any of his posts. He has been nothing but nice and respectful to you even after you constantly bash on him... Quit the tough guy act and give him a chance, even if you do think he's total BS. Call his bluff, call him a liar, but he has not disrespected anyone here, atleast show him common courtesy and respect without name calling.
I think i found the back^ screename for this guy

also, im guessing u dont have any ATV's since those in your sig have never seen the light of consumers yet? i may be wrong but your secured personal identity and 3rd person point of view make men like me question your partial existence, no point in doing that unless your just trying to start something.
