Default Noise in rear of Recon

I have a noise in the rear of my 02 Recon. You here it while making turns. I turned the motor off and drifted down hill, it makes noise when you turn, more then straight. I thinks it's the axle bearing. My main question is can I continue to ride or fix immediately, we have a trip planned this weekend and I'm not sure if I can get if fixed by then.

Ride Red, you think I could put another 100 - 150 miles on it. It just started making the noise. Everyone I talked to seems to think it's the bearings. I'm sure you ride yours pretty hard ! If not what's the sence in riding.........

can't you just take the ID and OD measurements and get them from any bearing shop or parts supplier. that's how i buy all my bearings, and they're cheaper than atv dealer.OR, look close at old bearing and take the number off of it, then get it from anywhere.

That happened to my brothers recon to. Didn't need to replace the bearing though. All we did was pop that golden cover off and greased the bearing with a bearing greaser. All that is is a needled that goes in the beaing and has an end on it that a grease gun can go on. We greased it and it fixed it. We haven't had a problem with it since then.

I rode mine until everything fell out, I mean the bearings were compleatly gone, I would not recomend riding it that long but it took about 6 months from begining to the end so you have a good while to go. Mine started out as a pop when going over bumps and humps and progressivly got worse, so if that is the case it is deffinatly the bearings, but one weekend of riding is not going to hurt a thing.
