Default Getting new tires for the recon!

Well I just bought a 2000 honda Recon and I just ordered some new rear tires for it, the GBC Dirt Devils. Has anyone else tried these? How did they work. I like 'em cause they should be half decent in the mud without being too agressive.

My buddy has Dirt Devils on his old 300, and I am very impressed with their all-around performance!

I just bought Mud Lites for my son's 2005 Recon.

22 X 11X9 in the back and 23x8x11 in the front.

I could not find the same diameter tires for the front and back because of the 7 and 9 inch rims.

As a two wheel drive, the extra 1/2" ride height in the front should'nt be a problem. The square shoulders on the tires and extra width should make the quad more stable.

hillclimbingrecon, don't waste money on getting mud tires for the front, cause it's useless. Find the cheapest tires and you'll be fine. For the back though, go with what you wanted. Last year I put Dirt Devils on the back, and that's probably the best thing I could have done. There's no power loss whatsoever. I'm sure you could even go with something like Gators or mud bugs if you wanted to.
