The Warn disconnect kit would be a good idea. Do any of you who have the 424 kit notice any "performance" differences ? I've been playing around with my intake/exhaust/carb for a while now, and honestly, do not get much gain over stock. I assume the engineers design for longevity can attribute to that. I have been curious about this Warn kit though. I wonder if it adds mileage? Easier to break the rear out for quick corners? Less parasitic drag on motor? Longer CV life maybe (that'd be nice).

Could some of you who have one tell me about yours?

ihave the Warn disconnect kit it is nice bc i never have it in 4 wheel any more!!!! it was even more of a dog before. little pricy for me but works great.

I find it odd that you don't experience any power gains with pipe, jetting, and filter. It was like night and day on mine. What size jets did you experiment with? I'm running a #124 DJ just about at sea level. It's a trial and error process to get it dialed in right but is well worth it. To answer your question about the Warn 424, it is well worth it to install it. It does quicken the quad because the engine is not having to drive the front axle. It is also easy to break the rear end loose going around turns, etc.

hey pat is that lift kit just lower the shocks? can i just put longer shocks on it and get the same as buying a 2 in lift?

Thanks for the jet info, I'll set aside some more time this weekend to tear into again. I'm thinking maybe my problems might be from dialing in the correct discs on the Megamax pipe with correct jetting. I want to use all of the discs for maximum flow if possible. Another problem I'm facing is this island has extreme elevation changes over short distances. So I try to calibrate for 1000 ft above.

I think my next step will be buying another air box lid. I'll drill a lot of holes in the old one, cover them with duct tape, and the experiment with uncovering progressively.

It would also help if I wasn't a retard!

Don't feel bad...I suffer from the "retard" syndrome at times : ) Keep in mind that you can adjust jets without removing the carb. Just twist it around to gain access to the bottom. The "lift" springs don't really add lift they just replace stock, sagging, springs. If your springs are sagging bad enough, like mine were, you gain back about one inch. They do stiffen up the ride a bit and compensate for winch/plow weight.
