Default Clutch Upgrades

I used a Snap-On three jaw puller to remove mine. The clutch puller usually is not necessary. If the puller will not easily remove it, then invest in the expensive tool as you do not want to warp the clutch housing. If you are replacing the springs with performance springs, invest in a drum brake spring tool as the new springs are much stiffer and more difficult to reinstall. Double check that the Rancher does not have a nut stake before removing the crank nut. You will need an impact to remove it. To re-torque the crank nut you can hold it in place by wedging a screwdriver, carefully, between the transmission gears.
