Parts are ordered for the 440ex. JE 11:1 piston, web race cam, rockers, and sleeve. I've already got a WB R-series pipe and a K&N. In addition it will be receiving a mid-range port job. I figured I will be getting about 38-39 hp. I've got a dynojet kit all packages still sealed and a new xr250 cdi box for sale cheap. Does anyone have similar mods. How do you like it? Hows the power? I'd like to hear some stories.

Everything including pipe and filter around $900. There is a local guy that loves building motors and he gave me a good deal. He is setting it up for hare-scrambles.

Hare scramble is a combination of trail, mx, and open flat out running. It's very tough. Races normally last 1.5 to 2 hours.
