Default Used and Abused Rancher

Original owner is selling a 2003 Rancher with 400 mi. Original owner hit a tree with the left front the first day he got it and never fixed it. The front rack is broken and the plastic all the way to the back is crooked. It does not line up at all. I'm wondering if the frame is bent or if the plastic just moved. You can only see half of the fuel guage. It has a warn 4-2-4 thats difficult to operate. The ATV was left outside from day one in his yard ubder a tarp. All metal parts are rusty...axels, fan, etc. He wants $2500. Is it worth it? Thanks

Absolutely not

figure a arms ,Front diferential if it was run bent. New racks and plastic . You can get a good used 1 for 3 to 3500 in excellent shape.

buy it for parts at no more than 1200 Because you will have 500 in parts plus labor in a wrecked quad when your done. If you pay for the repairs you will have 2000 or more in it fast. If it has sat that long the cylinders are rusty and will need to be honed. Seals will leak from being left dry.

Trust me letting a motor sit like that is worse than running it.

Left it outside what an idiot. This guy is a fool and does not take care of his stuff. I would bet the frame is bent does not matter as much as a car because your in the dirt but if you straighten it it will weaken the metal.

I would worry more about it being left outside. Scrap weight move on buy something else.

I see them for 2500 not wrecked. Tell him 500 or he keeps the LAWN DECORATION
