Default Carb: New Float?

Hey guys, just rebuilt carb in a 1986 TRX 125. When I connect the fuel line, fuel runs out of the hole just outside of the choke valve. The re-build kit didn't come with a new float. Is there anything else that will cause this condition? The old float will "float" when placed in a container of gas, but I guess that it can loose a certain amount of bouyancy over the years? Thanks for any advice.

Check and make sure the float needle is not sticking or better yet just replace it.

Default Carb: New Float?

Last nite replaced needle, seat, soaked body of carb in can of cleaner, blew out passageways etc. Still leaking. The float is all plastic, no metal tangs or anything to bend to adjust, guess I'll order a $22 carb float.
