2002 honda rancher es problems????
#11
Thanks for all the replies guys!!
I have to agree with quicksilver.......didnt make any sense to me either. Seems like they just want to get some MONEY from me. I have not had any problems with it shifting, and when I do, I will try the "rocking" technique.
BTW, does anyone know who I can buy or order a owners manual through for my rancher? The guy I bought mine through never gave me it, and it's be nice to have.......lol.
Thanks again!!

Your local dealer should be able to order you the original owners manual, if you want to pay there price. If it was me i would just get the Clymer manual and be done with it, overall a pretty good do it yourself manual.

My Recon ES will stop shifting after a few minutes. I don't know if it's because it's warmed up (?) Most of the time you can shut it off and restart, then it WILL shift again. Does this sound like the angle sensor?

I have a 2005 Honda Rancher and I changed the battery and now it only shifts sometimes. When I shut the key off then turn it back on, it will shift for a while and then will not shift anymore.
