Should I buy a twist throttle for my 250x or keep the thumb throttle. I like both but I was wondering wich kind is better?

i only ever had one problem/ acciedent with a twist throttle. i cam off a big single and landing to far out, and i got jerked back and jammed on the throttle and almost broke my wrist , but other than that i love it, and i still have it .

This is going to come down to your own personal decision. Myself, I always choose a twist throttle, but I have come from motorcycles. The thumb throttle bothers me the most when I try to work the front brake & throttle at the same time, like when coming into a corner. It left me with some kind of hand-contortion exercise. Down shift, blipping the throttle, & modulating the brake all in one motion, for me, is much more controlable with a twist throttle. Anybody can adapt to either or, but you'll have to make up your own mind. I also found the thumb throttle twitchy & abrupt, but I could of gotten used to it.
