Alright guys, my Recon won't start, let me break it down for ya'll.
I went out today to ride it. Started it up, ran for a bit but since it was cold it sputtered and died. Then choked it, it started. Slowly let off the choke as it warmed up, and it ran fine. I took it up my driveway going thru first-third gears and it was fine. Then brought it back behind the house to air up the front tire, since it has a leak. Right when I finished airing it up, it started to sputter a bit. I tried to give it a tad bit of gas, but it didn't help, and it died. I then choked it to try and start it...it would run with full choke and me revving it, but when i let off the choke and shifted into gear it would immediatly die. Tried about 3 more times until I decided it was flooded. Tried it 10 minutes later, wouldn't start at all. Tried again an hour later, still won't start at all.
What could this be?!

Its ok to leave the choke on while driving...you dont have to shut the choke to ride the quad. If itll start and run on choke, but turning off the choke makes it die...the idle circuit is dirty.
Try a new spark plug first, if that doesnt help it , try starting it by holding the throttle at a steady 1/4 open. This will bypass the idle circuits of the carb, and if it starts, then youve got a plugged pilot jet.

Hey, good going.
If you turn the gas to off, and let the motor run until it dies, beforeing putting the quad away...this will keep the carb clean, and most likely this wont happen again.
As you saw, the pilot jet has a very tiny hole, and it easily pluggs up with crud, if the float bowl is left full.
