problem with 05 300ex

Default problem with 05 300ex

hello, i have a 2005 300ex that i bought about a yr ago. recently i was riding and went to shift gears and had to release the clutch wayyy out, i dont ride the clutch is there anything i can check to see if the cable was stretched or something, i hope its not the clutch. i have a service manual so if anyone has any ideas i can refer to that if you help

Default problem with 05 300ex

That clutch can handle alot of abuse, so its probably ok... check out the section in the manual on adjusting the clutch cable.

I'm not trying to make you feel stupid, but check the cable nub on the clutch pull lever (on the engine). It might be popped out of it's keep. I had the EXACT same problem.
