My rancher has a miss that happens about every 45 to 60 seconds. Used to only be noticable when it was cold but now it is getting worse. I will kill the engine when it does is at idle. It killed it while I was riding the other day after the engine was warmed up... any ideas what would cause this?

Could be quite a few things.
How long has it been since the air filter was cleaned and reoiled?
Has the valve clearance been checked ?
Hows the spark plug look?
Could be a dirty carb, or the gas is bad, or the mixture screw needs a tweak.

 

Hmm take it to your dealer and have them do a leak down test, you may have a exhaust seat that went bad.
