Default TPI valve install

Purchased a TPI valve for my '05 Rubicon. Where is the best place to install it? I wanted to put it on/in the air box lid but I'm not sure there is enough clearance between the lid and the seat to get sufficient air, any advise will be appreciated.

On my Rancher, they fit on the lid nicely with no clearance issues. Don't know about the Rubi however. Is the seat that close????

I haven't measured it yet but it looks like a very tight fit. How much clearence do you think is necessary for it to breathe right?

Airbox lids are cheap. You may just have to sacrifice one to try it????

Even if the seat is close, it is still going to get more air than if there was no TPI there at all.
