Default problem with my R

does anybody else get sore hands trying to hold on for dear life? sounds funny but its very annoying....i get the thing ported, bigger carb ,jetted right and its too fast now.im thinkin a gripper seat cover will help some! im using a 14tooth front sprocket with 20" rears. using the 12 or 13 is just nuts to ride. anybody feel bad for me here? im getting to the point of rather riding the wolverine than dealing with the madness of the R !!! Mine can go faster than I usually care to go! The quad has very good suspension, but to go really fast (like for desert racing), you need absolutely SUPERB SUSPENSION.

I have pitty for the guys who rode stock Banshees (lousy suspension and terrible tires), back in the day when it was the only high performance quad you could buy (new).

I would try a heavier flywheel, depending on what your needs are (rec riding, MX, XC, ect.) or do a little gearing change to put the power where you need it.

My mildly modified R is a handful too. I raced a 2 hr. XC race last week, and while i didnt get arm pump at all, i was stiil feeling it the next day.

A suspension upgrade makes all the difference! I used to have that same problem when my Rs chassis was stock. But after a Lonestar swingarm, extended a-arms, Ohlins shocks front and rear, and a Lonestar anti-vibe steering stem I could pound through any terrain at full speed no problem. My favorite was going to Croom Motorcycle Park in Brooksville FL and hitting the whoops wide open in 5th gear when noone else would!
