Default Rincon stalling - please help

Hello,
I have a 2005 Rincon (wish I had waited for the fuel injected 2006). My problem is when I go from say half throttle to no throttle when going up a hill the engine will die sometimes. This happens when I want to go up a steep short hill and let off the throttle at the top to keep the front down. Just wondering if there is any carb adjustment or something else that would help this problem.

Thanks, Steven

my 06 had the same stalling problem when it was new but after about 20 hours on it the problem pretty much went away ,it still does it sometimes but very little,if yours is new I would give it some time to break in before you do any adjustments.

try turning up the idle a little. The idle seems to be set a little low in stock Rincons. Remember to turn the idle **** in very very small increments. It's on the right hand side of the bike, under the plastic, above the pull starter, it is a little black **** attached to a cable that is attached to the carb.

I adjusted the idle when I first got it (last Aug) because it seemed to be idling a little too fast. The bike would shake when it was sitting still and idling. Maybe I got it too low. It has about 500 miles on it now - I dont remember the hours.

Rincons will vibrate or shake when idling, enough to see it. Idle should be set at 1400 +/- 100 RPM.
