I am purchasing a new 2006 Rincon this Saturday. I read in these threads about things you guys do to it to doctor it up and make it run better like cut the carb spring, grease the wires, re-route the intake valve, etc. The only thing I know how to do is re-route the intake valve to the handlebars. I was just wondering if I need to do the things listed and I need to know ANYTHING else you guys have done to your ATV to make it better. Are there any mods I should get for increased speed, power, etc? Keep in mind that I am a water rider in water about seat high, trail rider, and mud rider. I'll appreciate any info you guys have for me and if you would please tell me how to do some of the stuff I need to do because I am the FARTHEST thing from a mechanic. I'll appreciate any info. Thanks.

Hello,
- There is no carb spring. The 2006 models are fuel injected.
- You can add a performance air filter, exhaust, etc, for more power but you will need a EFI programmer to change the air/fuel ratio to match your modifications.
- Since you said you are a water and mud guy, I would reccomend a lift kit and springs from highlifter, new tires, snorkel, skid plates. Also, go thru and seal all your electrical connections with waterproof grease. Also seal your pull starter opening.
Good luck
