Help With My 07 Rincon
#11
I would take it back make them check the valves, timing the work's 8k for an 07' i would want assurance from my dealer that they would fix it if it broke ! I've never owned a rincon but i had a 86' Honda TRX 350 Foreman, and i used it like a tank and the only real problem i had with it was water in the tank from riding in a creek the 86' foreman Had a metal gas tank under the seat ! With the heavy straight front axle I had to buy a new tank for 278.99 for creek riding.... But i sold it to my borther back in sept. 05' and it's still run's fine no knock's.and i have another brother who own's an 02' 350 rancher it doen't knock Some or maybe all these other's guy's may be right about the rincon , but better safe than sorry on down the trail !!!

Its not that half have the problem. It is that half believe that something is wrong with the engine. The Rincon sounds different. A lot of people think that there is a problem but when they take it in to get checked, everything is normal.

What octane does the owners manual recommend?

Owners manual calls for 86 or higher, I have never put less than 88 in mine and it still clatters like an old steam drill. Hey you guys, just because half of the Rincon's have a engine knock doesn't mean it's normal. If half of them didn't start would that be normal too?
