warn 424 front drive shaft

Default warn 424 front drive shaft

has anyone installed the warn drive shaft on a rubicon, and if so was it easy or hard to do ?

Done lots of them, not too bad just pay attention on how you route your cable and fine tune the adjustment on the engage and disengage.

It isn't that bad. I put one on a Foreman. Took about 2-3 hours taking my time. But do becareful where you route your line. You want to make as kink free as possible. A nice arc is good. You don't want it binding up. After its installed you will feel like you just got a new quad. It makes that much difference.

other then cable, does old shaft pretty much slide on out and and new slide back in? because if thats the only real issue im gonna get one. just figured space getting to want needs unbolted may be tough..

You will need to unbolt the front diff. It sounds scary but its not a problem. You need to move it forward enough to get the old out and new in. This is a great upgrade that will really change the way you feel about your quad.

Oh its a job. But on a scale of 1-10, I'd say about a 5. Just take your time and have fun with it.
