Just changed the oil on a 450 2002 - one owner- 7500 HOURS -- 78,000 kilometers , that's almost 50,000 miles
he changes the oil every 100 hours - just a normal cheap mineral oil. new oil filter every change.

 

I have a 1999 Honda Foreman 450, it has 19,682 miles 31,491 km still drive it nearly every day.....cant say it has been abused like some do ,but it has worked very hard. Hauling Moose out of some very tough spots and hauling heavy loaded trailers over the last 18 years......replaced wheel bearings ,brakes and cables....never touched power train ever.....oil change every 1000 km.....Will buy new Honda soon, but would like to ask if anyone could share some info on the Yamaha Grizzly ....is it as reliable as my old foreman for how i use it .Thank You.

 

Would suspect most brand name ATV's will last a long time if you use good oil and change it, and do any valve adjustments as needed. I have 8,000 miles on my Arctic Cat 500 , it runs like new, uses not a drop of oil. I've heard of AC's with over 30,000 miles too. The Made in China stuff, not so much. BTW, my Arctic Cat 700 diesel has a scheduled overhaul every ----10,000 hours

 

My 2016 Honda Rancher 420 is going to turn over to 5000 kms in 10 kms!

 

Mine is a 00 or 01 foreman 450ES 4x4, cant remember which. Its all stock other than a tall tire and new wheels. It been rode by 3 generations of family including my son now. It has 25,288 miles thus far. Just barely uses a little oil now and then. I put disk brakes on it and a 4x4 disconnect. My 12 year old follows us everywhere we go on rzrs.

 

01 foreman 450es 4x4. All original. Over 25k miles.

 

702,890 miles and 92567.2 hours and I still ride this quad all of the time and doesn’t smoke at all I think it has the original engine. It’s a 2006 rancher 350 4x4
