Just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to tell me the piston clearance between the piston and the cylinder . Not the wear limit but the standard clearance . I have to take the cylinder to the machine shop TOMORROW and I need to know the clearance .

The clearance is .0014-.0022 inch..the service limit is .004.

I have done many pistons/cyl over the years , so I know to take the piston with me . I just know that some atvs and bike run a little different clearance. Thanks guys so much for the info. , lte me know if I can help you out.

One question though , why do you say 600 grit stones vs ? Just curious , I haven't heard this before.
