Default 2001 Foreman 450 ES Choke

Hi all. New to the forum but look forward to many years.
Bought a 01 450ES (1st ATV and loving it so far).
Choke cable broke, I replaced it and it seems that it does not turn off.
Strats right up now, but cable position doesn't change idle or how it runs (it's -5 today)
Any tips or ideas would be great.
Thanks!

I've replaced a few choke cables in my day. Did you make sure cable end going into carb was well lubricated. Sounds like it is sticking. O-ring sometimes has a hard time sliding. Try a little wd-40 on it. Had that problem before and it worked. Hope this helps.
